The Ireland series was made during a trip to the country with my mother, uncle, and grandfather in 2022. The trip was not only a chance to explore our roots, with all of us being proud members of the Healy clan, but also to spread my grandmothers ashes on the shores of an Irish lake.
I was fascinated by the culture, people, and natural beauty Ireland had to offer. It was a playground to my newly trained eye as a photojournalist. What started as travel pictures quickly became a sketch of a whole country as we travelled across the island, each town its own unique wonder. After gathering all I had captured, I can say I'm mostly satisfied; I am only disappointed that there is no way to photograph such beautiful accents.
After returning home, I compiled 25 of these images into a photo book, titled simply "Ireland," which is still available for purchase. I am also happy to discuss prices for prints, which can be purchased by contacting me directly.
